We have a bold vision: to unite 100,000 Black male corporate leaders, employees, entrepreneurs, and investors worldwide and help them all reach 7-figure success. With over 40 regional groups, we are building strong communities across the U.S. and expanding into Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. By growing this global network, we are amplifying the voices of Black men in leadership and creating a lasting legacy of excellence and influence.

At BEM, we shift the narrative from competition to collaboration. Our members uplift one another, building authentic relationships that lead to career support, job referrals, and access to mentorship and sponsorship. Our Founder

Jewel Love founded Black Executive Men (BEM) in 2015 in Oakland, California, as a licensed psychotherapist specializing in helping corporate Black men heal from depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. For seven years, he guided clients toward inner peace, healthier relationships, greater self-love, and career success.

Through working with thousands of corporate Black men, Jewel identified the key strategies for reaching the top in executive roles, venture capital, private equity, board positions, entrepreneurship, and beyond. He also led a corporate speaking tour, partnering with Black ERGs at major companies.

What began as a private psychotherapy practice charging $40 per hour in 2015 evolved into a premier executive coaching business, now commanding $50,000 for one-on-one coaching in 2025. Once unknown in the corporate world, Jewel is now a sought-after executive coach and thought leader for Black male executives across industries. He has grown his LinkedIn following to 26,000, leads a 1,000-member BEM Community, and is working toward a goal of reaching 100,000 members by 2040.

Jewel is the host of the weekly Black Executive Men Podcast and publishes a weekly newsletter. He is also working on his forthcoming book, Born Driven: The Executive Blueprint for Black Men in Corporate America. Beyond coaching, he has co-founded a private equity firm to help Black male investors invest in Black male GPs, launched a recruiting firm, created a C-level accelerator, and started an 8-to-10-figure mastermind—all designed to help corporate Black men succeed.

Born to an Black-American father and a Scottish Canadian mother, Jewel was raised with a deep appreciation for Black culture, identity, and legacy. With a humanistic perspective, he believes we all have a calling to make a profound impact on the world and leave a legacy that uplifts those who come after us. An avid traveler, he now lives full-time in Mexico with his wife and children.
